Sa vie enti\u00e8re dans un sac de plastique.<br \/>Se r\u00e9fugiant d\u2019abord du c\u00f4t\u00e9 dominicain de la fronti\u00e8re, il attend dans l\u2019antichambre d\u2019Ha\u00efti que les choses se calment. Sauf que les choses ne se calment pas. Il faut marcher, encore, toujours. Devenir un migrant. Du Br\u00e9sil au Mexique, il enfile les kilom\u00e8tres, serrant toujours son sac de plastique contre lui, tant\u00f4t \u00e0 bord d\u2019un autobus surchauff\u00e9, tant\u00f4t dans les profondeurs de la jungle avec d\u2019autres sans-papiers qui, autour de lui, tombent les uns apr\u00e8s les autres. Quand enfin il atteint la fronti\u00e8re des \u00c9tats-Unis, ce sont les agents de l\u2019ICE qui l\u2019attendent. Jonas n\u2019a plus qu\u2019un objectif : quitter ce pays qui n\u2019a rien de \u00ab great again \u00bb et gagner le Canada par le chemin Roxham, cette voie salutaire dont il a tant entendu parler.<br \/>La plume foisonnante et po\u00e9tique de Th\u00e9lyson Or\u00e9lien fait jaillir la beaut\u00e9 dans les zones les plus sombres de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience humaine. Il parle la langue de l\u2019exil, cette langue qui s\u2019apprend \u00ab sans grammaire, sans dictionnaire, juste avec les os et la peau \u00bb.
